This workshop will guide faculty in designing projects that engage students by assigning topics that are relevant to their lived experience, have outcomes that are felt beyond the classroom, or develop civic engagement.  

Participants will  

• See examples of authentic projects from across a range of disciplines; 

• Brainstorm project topics relevant to their courses; 

• Begin thinking through the activities and assessments of these potential projects.
